With a standard membership, dues are distributed as follows: $49 for national dues and $16.00 for state dues. AAUW of Oregon dues includes $1.00 for an Oregon News subscription.

Every member must complete the above form every year in order to satisfy the requirements for AAUW of Oregon's bulk mail postal permit. The specifics are:
• Four issues a year must be mailed with a minimum of 200 copies
• Members must complete a subscription form each year
• The forms must be stored someplace in Multnomah County
• Forms must be available for inspection by the post office
Not all AAUW members have computers, which means that a certain number of Oregon News copies must be mailed. The bulk mail permit saves AAUW of Oregon money for those copies.
Beginning with the 2009-10 year, $46 of national AAUW dues is tax deductible as a contribution. Donations to the Education Foundation are also tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes and should always be paid by separate checks from dues.
